Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Physical Infrastructure Raghubir Mahaseth said the road would reach Kimathangka by the end of the fiscal year 2081/82 BS.
Attending the closing ceremony of the first Bhotkhola festival held at Bhotkhola rural municipality of Sankhuwasabha on Sunday, Deputy Prime Minister Mahaseth said there was no shortage of budget for the project.
On the occasion, Defence Minister Hari Upreti pledged to open the Kimathanka border point soon. DPM Mahaseth and Minister Upreti also inspected the Kimathanka checkpoint and highway.
On the occasion, Bhotkhola Chair Wang Chhedar Lama had presented a charter of demands for the development of the rural municipality to the ministers. The Nepal Army was tasked to open the track in the 14-kilometer stretch of the Kimathanka-Khandbari road section of national pride.
