Illegal structures constructed at no man’s land removed

Security personnel of Nepal and India have jointly removed illegally constructed structures at no man’s land in the Nepal-India border area of Mahottari district.

According to Armed Police Force Nepal No 9 Headquarters, Jaleshwor, the security personnel of both countries jointly removed structures constructed by encroaching the no man’s land at Matihani municipality-7 and 8 of Mahottari district towards Nepal and structures constructed by encroaching around three kilometers no man’s land from border pillar no 295\9 to pillar no 295 at Madhuwapur city of Madhubani District in Bihar State, India.

A team under leadership of Sub Inspector of APF Nepal No 9 Headquarters, Jaleshwor, Rabindra Mehattari Sudi, and a team under command of Police Inspector of Seema Surakhsya Bal at Madhuwapur in Madhubani district, India, Rishikesh Kumar, removed the illegal structures constructed by encroaching the no man’s land.

The joint team removed houses, huts, as well as other structures constructed at no man’s land towards both countries by encroaching no man’s land.

Similarly, dozens of Indian number plated vehicles that used to be parked at the no man’s land since many years were also removed and would not be allowed to park there from Friday onwards.
