An unidentified gang ruthlessly killed a sexagenarian man and his grandson on Monday night in Nawalparasi West.
The deceased have been identified as 65-year-old Yakshalal Chamar and his 11-year-old grandson Gaucharan Chamar, residents of Susta Rural Municipality-3 Marchahawa.
Their bodies were found outside a farm shed about 500 meters south of the house this morning, informed SP Kajikumar Acharya of District Police Office, Nawalparasi.
Locals informed the police after having found the bodies of grandfather and grandson outside the hut built for farmhands to take shelter.
Police officers including SP Acharya, DSP Resham Bohora have reached the farm shed.
DSP Bohora informed that the bodies of grandfather and grandson were found murdered and dumped outside the shed at a distance of 15 meters.
“We are at the incident site with SP Acharya now,” DSP Bohora told Nepalkhabar, “We have started an investigation into the incident with a sniffer dog.” No suspects have been arrested so far, said Bohora.
